Eligibility
Any woman 18 years of age or older who can document lineal, bloodline descent from an ancestor who aided the cause of American independence is eligible for membership in the Daughters of the American Revolution. Patriotic service must have occurred between April 19, 1775 and November 26, 1783.
Members of our chapter
Frances Bland Randolph Chapter has active members from Petersburg and many of its surrounding areas. We are a non-profit and non-political society focused on promoting patriotism, preserving American history, and promoting education for children.
What we do
We support Wreaths Across America, donations to veterans at the VA Hospital, collecting food and clothing for those in need, Naturalization Ceremonies, Good Citizenship Awards to six deserving high school seniors, the student American History Essay contest, and awarding JROTC medals to outstanding cadets at three local high schools.
